AACSB Accreditation

Both the University of Montevallo and the Stephens College of Business have the highest levels of accreditation available to institutions of higher education in the United States. The University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), the regional accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The College of Business is additionally accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the leading accrediting agency for business schools throughout the world.

Stephens College of Business and the University of Montevallo were recognized for a successful peer review team visit and vote of continuation of accreditation at the recent ICAM international conference. AACSB is the highest and most prestigious accreditation in business and is achieved by less than 5 percent of the world’s business programs.
